Assalamualaikum, Salam Pertemuan
Saya telahpun menerangkan sebelum ini bahawa sasaran pngk yang perlu adalah 3.00, jadi bagaimana anda hendak mencapainya. Berikut adalah contoh sistem pengredan. Pengredan yang dipaparkan di bawah ini adalah contoh dari USM.

80-100 A 4.00
70-79 A- 3.67
64-69 B+ 3.33
58-63 B 3.00
52-57 B- 2.67
46-51 C+ 2.33
40-45 C 2.00
36-39 C- 1.67
32-35 D+ 1.33
28-31 D 1.00
25-27 D- 0.67
0-24 F 0.00
Bagi memperolehi pngk sekurang-kurangnya 3.00 apa yang perlu anda lakukan adalah bagi setiap subjek yang diambil, matanilai yang perlu disasarkan ialah sekurang-kurangnya 3.00. Jadi bagi setiap subjek anda hanya perlu mencapai sekurang-kurangnya 58 markah. Kalau anda boleh dapat mencapai lebih dari ini adalah lebih baik.
Angka ini adalah berbeza-beza mengikut universiti di mana anda berada. Sila rujuk buku panduan akademik universiti masing-masing dan lihat jadual pengredan universiti anda.

Comment saya cuma satu..It is dangerous to ask a student to just aim for 3.00..Bcoz if they do..thay would study to get 3.00..If they are lucky they would get the targetted 3.00..BUt if not..the tendency would be to get a lower grade..i.e 2.67 or even lower at 2.33 or 2.00..
My approaced last time when I was in UiTM was to target 4.00..So it would help me to be focus in getting 4.00..So if it did not, the worse I would get is 3.67 or 3.33..
Most uni students tak tahu cara nak belajar yg betul..yeah..some study like 4-5 hours a day but nothing came out of it.The study technique must be good too..and some have very poor English command and this really make them struggle in those Uni yg guna English in the syllabus..
Another thing..some student yg direct dari form 5 ke.biasanya not ready for the teaching style in Uni..Dia org dah biasa kena ‘spoon fed” so bila in Uni ramai yg terkapai2..
The best is to guide them during the 1st-2nd sem…Maybe guna sistem mentor dsbnya…Bila dah amsuk sem 3 maybe they are more matured..and ready to be on their own..

I used 3.00 in my explaination was for the sake of making it easier to understand. I aggree with you, they should target for maximum cpa 4.00.
The point is they must study hard and smart and should be able to practice a good study technique.
Mentor system is good and can be used by lecturers or by a group of senior students to guide their junoirs. Especially if they are involved with ‘usrah’, they should used this flatform
as a way of helping other students in their study.

i got my degree by attending night class in UiTM. clocking in 8am in Jalan Tun Razak, clock out 5pm and rush to 6pm class in UiTM Shah Alam until 9pm, and later went back to Sikamat around 10pm. indeed my first semester was only 2.75 GPA and was not really understand the marking system, by attending night class 4-5 night per week.
but, after put more and more effort…. i got my Degree just about 3.31 CGPA, and with 3AD…
it’s about focusing on what is the priority…
